well i think it was mostly boredom, sitting at home on an weekend and not the curiosity which took the toll this time. though the intentions were right but a slight impatience spoiled it.Though it got salvaged in the end but ended up me buying a new keyboard for around 1800 rs (i was lucky)
Started with cleaning the fan as it used to or still makes a lot of noise and then generally thought to CLEAN the keyboard too, and doing so managed to get the cleaning solution generously all over it. so some of the keys stopped working, and if at that point i would have left it aside to dry up it would have survived but being top of my class i tried to dry it up with a hair dryer on hat air - and and the damn plastic of the keys were to sensitive! they kind of melted and deformed and came off!
