Was watching this special report on the Noida serial murders on NDTV presented by Barkha Dutt where she touched upon a very interesting aspect of our leagal/ law and order system which is so evidently biased and tilted towards the rich and the mighty, which litterally means 90% of the population gets/ have no right to justice. And this is not even 'justice delayed' its just simply denied because poors or unconnected have no right to demand fulfillment of there basic rights.
It was amazing to hear Kiran Bedi one of the speakers, to point out the reasons for the permanent disability of the police force to do anything. she even cited the example of how the police is told to curb crime by simply not registering it it, because if recorded it can become a problem for the politicians in the parliament or if the need to really act on the complaints arises how will they manage with the next to nothing infrastructure or the quality of policemen we have for ourself who are not even trained for proper investigations- imagine all this pointed by the Top Cop herself.
I think we should be either scared about this or be prepared to take things in our own hand if need be.
It was also quite irritating to see when Naresh Gupta - the father of kidnapped kid also Adobe's CEO was interviewed about the disparity in the investigations in his case vis-a-viz this present killings , to which he simply dodged the answers and above all that giving full marks to the Police also. Maybe he's still scared....................................................

hope we all get it right this year....
Hazaaron khwahishen aisi ke har khwahish pe dum nikle
bahot nikle mere armaan, lekin phir bhi kam nikle
..Thousands of desires, each worth dying for...
many of them I have realized...yet I yearn for more...
